Plain-English terms
How payment, changes and cancellation work when you hire WebFresh Studio.
Prices
Package prices are fixed, one-off prices in GBP, shown on our website. Extras are shown as "From" prices with what each one covers beside it, and we confirm the exact price in a written quote before work starts.
VAT
We're not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
Payment
50% is paid upfront to start the work, and the other 50% is paid before the site goes live.
For extras, the price and payment are confirmed in each quote.
Changes
Each package lists the revisions (rounds of changes) it includes. If you'd like more, we quote for them before we start them.
For extras, we confirm what is included, including changes, in your quote.
What's not included
Domain names, hosting and any paid tools you choose, such as a booking system, are paid for separately by you and stay in your name. Monthly care is optional.
Hosting
Hosting is set up on your own account and paid for by you, so the website always belongs to you. You add WebFresh Studio as a separate user on that account, so we never need your password.
Cancelling
You can cancel before work starts for a full refund. After that, we refund the deposit minus the work already done.
Ownership
Once your site is paid for, the files are yours and your domain stays in your name. There's no lock-in.
Monthly care
Monthly care is optional, and you can cancel it any time. It covers small edits each month, regular checks that your pages and forms are working, and help if something stops working.
